Brentwood Borough Council is taking a leading role in ensuring the most vulnerable people in the Borough are supported while they self-isolate and socially distance themselves during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Over the weekend thousands of leaflets have been distributed to households across the Borough by councillors, council staff and volunteers. Councillors and council staff were also at Sainsbury's first thing each morning over the weekend to encourage shoppers to "put a can in the van" for the Brentwood foodbank and local distribution to those in need. This has been a great act of community support and I am very proud of all those who got involved to get this work done.
If you need assistance, or want to make the Council aware of someone who may need support, please contact the Council on 01277 312500 or at communitysupport@brentwood.gov.uk
A copy of the leaflet is attached and can be read below.
