Openreach is creating seven new full time engineering roles in the Brentwood and Ongar constituency, as part of its £12bn nationwide broadband project
The new roles, located in the local community and surrounding areas, will enable Openreach to continue improving service levels whilst building and connecting customers to its new, Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband network at a record pace.
This is good news for Brentwood and Ongar, where we are still in need of a strong and reliable full fibre network to enable better digital communication in all parts of the constituency, especially as so many of us are having to work from home. Hopefully workplaces will open up again son, but I am sure there are some people and employers who would prefer to the option to work from home if the broadband connection is good enough.
The seven roles in Brentwood and Ongar will offer some exciting employment opportunities for local people, and I am very please to see Openreach is working to www.openreach.co.uk/watchme.
