Realise Futures is a not-for-profit supported employment scheme which offers help for adults with learning or physical disabilities get into work in Essex. Funded by Essex County Council, Realise Futures works with customers and employers to identify suitable jobs, support people through the application process and settle them into employment.
I met Oscar Marsh, who is the Engagement Coordinator for Realise Futures to discuss how the organisation can become involved in helping businesses in Brentwood and Ongar recruit staff with physical and learning disabilities. The service is free to anyone who uses it, and Oscar told me he is looking to engage with local businesses to find opportunities and roles for people who often find it difficult to access suitable jobs.
If you are a business owner or work for a company in the Brentwood and Ongar constituency and feel you might have some suitable jobs available, do get in touch with Oscar on 07738 704723.
