Congratulations to Our A level Students!

Congratulations to everyone receiving their results today in Brentwood and Ongar. These results are the culmination of two years of dedication and hard work, and I know many of you have had sleepless nights in recent days waiting for these results to come out.

Brentwood and Ongar is Working

Figures released today by the independent Office of National Statistics (ONS) show that more people are in work than ever before. Under the Conservatives, 3 million people are back in work since 2010, and the level of people out of work is at the lowest level in over 40 years.

Broadband or BroadBAD?

This part of the world is really fantastically well connected. By air, we have Southend and Stansted near by. By road, we have the A12 and A127, the M25 and M11. By rail, we have C2C, TfL and Greater Anglia carrying thousands of commuters to and from our towns.

Elizabeth Line Update from TfL

TfL have been in touch with an update on the planned timetable for the Elizabeth Line when it opens fully from Shenfield to Reading in 2019. More immediately, please note there will be a rail replacement bus service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield on August 27th and 28th this summer.
