I am working with businesses to boost our High Streets with investment from the Government's Levelling Up Fund.

Through the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill, the Government is proposing new powers for local authorities to take control of empty buildings and give communities and local businesses the opportunity to bid for the chance to rent shops. In addition, the Brentwood Improvement District (BID) is now in place to enable local shopkeepers, cafe owners, business people, residents and the local councils to work together to improve the amenity, access and enjoyability of the High Streets in Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone.

Raising the Roof on Shenfield's New Library
