My return to Parliament after the summer recess has been busy, and I have been able to catch up on two key local issues which are affecting many of my constituents. 

Many constituents, especially those in Ingatestone, Haverings Grove and West Horndon, are aware of National Grid’s proposal to build a new high voltage network reinforcement between Norwich, Bramford and Tilbury via an intrusive network of overhead lines and pylons.

The good people of Ingatestone are going to be quite busy over the summer as two consultations affecting local life are currently open and awaiting responses.
