While constituency casework keeps me and my office staff busy every day of every week, there are some issues which need more of a push – and this can take some time.
My latest constituency wide magazine is currently being delivered to all households in Brentwood and Ongar, updating you on my current campaigns and the work I am doing in the constituency and Westminster to support my constituents.
In recent weeks I have been knocking on doors in some of Brentwood and Ongar’s villages, chatting to local residents about the issues which matter to them. I’ve also been carrying out my usual Friday visits to some of our local schools and businesses.
It is clear from my inbox that we are at the height of ‘pothole season’ at the moment. The tyre-crunching ability of potholes to catch drivers out is uncanny, so please do all you can to drive with care.
Last month I had the pleasure of introducing the Minister for Children, Families and Wellbeing, David Johnston MP, to two brilliant organisations which make the lives of children in my Brentwood and Ongar constituency better.
The Brentwood and Epping Community Policing Team are offering local residents a free taster session self-defence class with local based company Loughton Self-Defence.
