Bringing superfast broadband to Brentwood and Ongar

The post-Covid increase in the number of people working from home has seen an increase in constituents contacting me about broadband speeds and a patchy roll out of superfast fibre to the property infrastructure in some parts of the constituency. I have brought this to the attention of Openreach and will be campaigning to ensure the latest technology is being made available swifty and efficiently to those living in my Brentwood and Ongar constituency.

NIneteen thousand additional businesses and homes in Brentwood now have access to full-fibre broadband with average top speeds of 1,130Mbps thanks to recent investment by nexfibre, Virgin Media O2’s partner, to expand its full-fibre wholesale network in the area
